Water World

The ship was sinking. Me and a few others were in a higher compartment of the ship, just below the top deck. The man in charge (I'm not sure if he was actually the captain) ordered us to leave everything behind except certain crates, which I believe to be bombs. They were to be carried up to the top at the last minute. He left to take care of some things at which time me and the others discussed this and we were all sure it was suicide. We began packing our things and getting together what resources we had. We he returned he began shouting at us and I emerged from the back of the crowd with a large pistol and shot him dead between the eyes. We stopped only for a moment and then went straight back to work.

I think the ship broke in half. There was a large earthquake-like feeling, and the ship must have been designed for this because our half stayed afloat while the other half sank. We had snorkel breathing pieces but no masks. We did not use them. We all went to the top together with what little we had. Everywhere was water.

After awhile (hours, days, I do not know) we saw another ship. They were survivors like us. They took me and 3 or 4 others to their settlement. It was a shelf of land underwater, and they had built structures within that land. I have no idea how this was done - maybe before the flooding, but there were rooms that were completely waterproof and supplied with air for breathing. Round, convex windows glowed along the edges of the shelf.

We met with the people of this place and they were getting along well. There was progress and I told my companions that we must find a way to strive for something more like this. That living on the small piece of ship was not stable and we needed to find a settlement of our own. So with some help from our new friends we went back to my ship, for now I was in charge. I told them what I thought and they all agreed. So we set out on a borrowed boat, the gift of supplies they'd given us, a nautical map, and a few volunteers from the group we'd met.

Was signing my name over and over because I kept messing my signature up. Dream then shifted. Joshua is telling me about a scene in a movie. This lady loses everything, sad story. Then we’re watching the next part. She’s chained to another prisoner and they’re both walking a narrow path presumably over water. Everything around them is obscured by mist or fog. Everything is red, except for the white fog. They’re having an argument. She gets very angry and picks up the heavy rock that their chains are linked to and throws it over the side. “No,” she says instantly regretting her decision. The man sees what she’s done, holds his breath and leaps. The woman, sad, gives up and lets the chain drag her over to their deaths. Woke up feeling it was very important not to make hasty decisions while upset.

Five Gold Rings

I received a card from a friend. Not sure which friend, but thought it might be from TL. It was white with silk and on the front was a little pocket. Written on it, it mentioned me losing/leaving "these". In the pocket was a gold ring, but I didn't recognize it. On the inside of the card was more inscriptions, but I didn't read those because I saw another pocket. In that pocket were 2 more rings - one was an engagement ring (though not mine) and the other was a wedding band and it actually WAS mine. I looked down to see that I was not wearing my rings. Then I began to panic because I was still missing the engagement ring from my set. There was another pocket on the next side of the card, but I didn't get that far.

It was my grandmother’s old house. Apparently she had died because all the furniture had been removed, the carpets torn up, and both the back and front doors were missing although the front still had its screen door.  The house had been creepy before, but it was worse now. Wooden floorboards creaked and everything seemed to be in grayscale. The swimming pool, long since filled in with sand, was now a swamp covered in greenish slime and bubbling from the movement of unseen creatures. As we left through the front, we stopped on the porch because I heard a splashing noise. The front right side of the property was flooded all the way up to the porch, and I could hear a “splash-splash-splash” of something swimming closer. Then, at the edge of the porch, a head popped up. It looked like one of those old cupie dolls. It hopped up onto the porch, covered in algae slime and began walking towards us.  We escaped to the road, where my dad was waiting for us in his truck.
