The Art Job

M argaret had been working with this new company for about a year and she loved it. They interviewed me and offered 30,000 a year. If I had been awake I would have accepted right away, but I was dreaming and so I asked questions about how long the company had been going and if they had ever laid off any workers. The company ran like a giant consignment shop of sorts. Employees created art of any kind and sold it. All the sale money went to the company and employees all got monthly checks. Margaret had some very beautiful paintings she was selling. An older man I'd met there liked to collect old bottles he'd found and decorate them with paint and/or glued on jewelry. They regularly went out as groups to find items to make into art. And at least once a week they would sit in this one big room with large tables and adding machines, and they would tally up how much they'd made versus how much they cost the company. There had to be a profit at the end of the year or you would no

A very Disney dream

M y betrothed was a prince, but I was a poor peasant girl, and so he left me to find his princess. One day while I was working I saw his carriage approaching and by his side was a beautiful princess with long flowing red hair. The Prince: I had to see you to tell you, after all, you are my best friend; I have found my princess - a treasure more valuable than all the gold in the world. He looks at her lovingly and she smiles back. Me: I'm very happy for you. The Prince: You don't look very happy. Me: ****Singing**** I'm so very happy that you've finally found your treasure. (I gesture to the Princess) But if I were you, I'd want to keep it safe. My advice to you, free of charge, it's my pleasure Is to keep her hidden for her own sake. (singing gets faster) I'd put her in a chest, lock her up, throw away the key! Sail my best ship far and east, throw her out to sea! The princess looks alarmed. Some guards appear out of nowhere and carry me away.

It's All A Blur

F riends, haunted restaurants, a keychain. Hurry down the street. Where are we going? How much was my bill? Should I write the check for 29 or 49? Okay, let's get out of here. Some dreams are just one confusing scene after another.

Water World

T he ship was sinking. Me and a few others were in a higher compartment of the ship, just below the top deck. The man in charge (I'm not sure if he was actually the captain) ordered us to leave everything behind except certain crates, which I believe to be bombs. They were to be carried up to the top at the last minute. He left to take care of some things at which time me and the others discussed this and we were all sure it was suicide. We began packing our things and getting together what resources we had. We he returned he began shouting at us and I emerged from the back of the crowd with a large pistol and shot him dead between the eyes. We stopped only for a moment and then went straight back to work. I think the ship broke in half. There was a large earthquake-like feeling, and the ship must have been designed for this because our half stayed afloat while the other half sank. We had snorkel breathing pieces but no masks. We did not use them. We all went to the top together wi

Broken

I t was some sort of tower or lighthouse; I remember there was a spiral staircase. There seemed to be a storm or earthquake or some other catastrophe. A lot of people were hurt. T fell down the stairs and broke her neck. They told me and I ran to her and told everyone not to move her. But suddenly there were more stairs to go down to get her to an ambulance. She laid there, body twitching, crying for help. I picked her up and carried her down the winding stairs.

A House By The Sea

J osh and I lived in a large two story house on the bay. It had large glass windows, a big deck, and a jacuzzi on that deck. Our deck was adjacent to our neighbors and during a birthday party for someone, we used their section of deck and the lady of the house came out and asked me to move our party, so we did. We were thinking about buying this boat and the owner let us take it fishing to see if we liked it. We went up an inlet and fished in clear water where I caught a grouper - it was pale yellowish off white and had splotches all over and the texture of its skin was irregular. Marty and Lorrie were with us as we sat on our deck and talked about our new place. A storm came and we watched it topple over one of my neighbors houses. The house swayed side to side and finally all the way over. Our house was fine though, and I remember telling them that storms didn't used to bother me, but I was worried now and I said something else about the long hurricane season ahead.

I Dreamt I Went To Washington (state)

T o see all my Puget Sound homies. And when I got there, they all lived together in this huge pimped out house, with few walls and LOTS of ... merchandise. Like T-shirts, convenience store foods, novelties, and Halloween stuff. They were happy to see me, but said I should have called first because they were all going to Nigeria to rescue a friend. Josh wanted us to go with them, but I was afraid. They boarded a plane and got through customs by claiming to be relatives of some huge celebrity. Josh finally talked me into it and we tried the same celebrity scam, but it didn't work and the customs lady rudely informed me, "It doesn't matter anyway. Your friend is dead. I saw him lying on the linoleum." I wonder who exactly it was - because I didn't actually know the friend that they went to save. I worried about them and hoped they were okay. After awakening, the strangest part about this dream to me was the word "linoleum". I don't have it in my home or
