The Vampire War

I was shopping at Wal -Mart. It was the only place open that time of night in the small town. That's why the whole town seemed to be there. And that's why the vampires chose it as their place of attack. People were running in all directions. I left the buggy, and dropped whatever I was holding. I knew I couldn't fight, so I was just looking for a place to hide. The doors had already been locked, so no one could get out. I found a flat of window blinds that hadn't been stocked yet - and crawled in between them and covered myself with them. I could hear the screams. The pleas. I waited, holding my breath. Then, some time later, the top box of blinds moved. I froze. I had been waiting so long that the fluorescent lights hurt my eyes. When they focused I could see the vampire staring down at me, smiling; waiting for me to recognize that I had been got. I still couldn't move. I was stuck where I was - knowing that I was too slow for any escape. The vampire's gaze

Also, There May or May Not Have Been Hover-Cars

Josh tested parachutes for a living. He'd jump from a plane, guide his chute to an oversized pool, and then report on everything mostly using a device that he wore that recorded his speed, direction, etc. I loved it. It was an exciting life. I had a video game demos - which was basically a simulation of his jumps. Looked like it was for a 64 or maybe super nintendo. I was riding with an older lady and her grandson, who was very bright for his age, and I loaned it to the boy. He seemed genuinely excited about it. I asked her to stop the mini van because just as we were coming over the hill, it was an amazing view of the city with a building with mirrored windows and the setting sun in the background. Also, I had a corgie-mix dog with me. He was my dog and I loved him muchly. He was also very smart, though I can't remember anything he might have done to show it.

Finally! A Dream About Settlers of Catan?

It was my birthday. A friend (whom I do not know) gave me Settlers of Catan - with a purple ribbon and bow on it. It was smaller than the real life board game. And when I opened it up - it was completely different from the real life version, but in the dream everything was exactly as it should be. We played, and had a great time. Kinda boring, but at least it's something. Also, I know what Settlers of Catan is supposed to look like - why would my subconscious insert something completely different? Weird.

Still Not Dreaming

Still no dreams. None with any substance. They are more like mundane pictures now, on the rare instance that I do have them. Doesn't seem right, not to have any dreams. I'm sure they are there, and I just don't remember them. But to me, that's the same thing as not having them.

Long time no dream. Strange that I used to dream every single night. Now, when I do dream, the memory seems so far away - like something that happened when I was just a child. I actually miss the alligator dreams. For over 20 years, I dreamed about alligators every night. Usually they weren't nightmares - in one dream I actually slow danced with an alligator. I looked in every dream book I could get in my hands to see what it said about alligators, but none of the explanations rang true. Then one day, those dreams stopped. I like dreams. They're almost like the adventures we go on when we're not awake and are often times more exciting than real life.
